A little background
My name is Felix Hernandez, and I am from Waco, Texas. In high school I first picked up my mom’s old camera and started shooting around our house. Time went on and I joined my school’s yearbook class to start shooting for events such as sports, activities or ceremonies.
I am currently studying Photography, Video and Imaging at the University of Arizona where I strive to learn more about photography and learn what it truly means to be one. I am also a photojournalist for the school paper, the Daily Wildcat. Already I have started doing senior portraits to not only build my portfolio, but to create more connections.
I shoot different kinds of photography in both film and digital, but specifically I shoot portraiture and landscape. As I go out into the world more, I hope to blend the two together.
When I am not shooting photos, I like to be outdoors, workout, read, and spend time with friends because I always think it’s important to find a balance between the two.
